Group Summary:

Cosma provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to global customers. Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Follow, comply and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards). Responsible to ensure employees are properly trained and adhering to such policies and enforcing disciplinary actions when safety infractions occur.

2) Leads the quality team to ensure that Kamtek's business plan goals and objectives are met.

3) The QM develops and implements the quality management strategy and plans, including resources, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within the organization's annual business plan and long term strategy.

4) Manage the Quality Department;

5) Develop Key Operating Indicators (KOI's) in accordance with all relevant parties;

7) Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization;

8) Set QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved;

9) Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues;

10) Assess suppliers' and own company's product specifications and customer requirements;

11) Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;

12) Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation;

13) Consider the application of environmental and health/safety standards;

14) Establish standards and clearly defined quality methods;

15) Define quality procedures in conjunction with Operations and Engineering;

16) Set up and maintains controls and documentation;

17) Identify relevant quality-related training needs;

18) Collate and analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters;

19) Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary;

20) Supervise technical personnel in carrying out tests, measurements and checks;

21) Write technical and management system reports;

22) Bring together different disciplines as cross-functional teams and drives the group to plan, formulate and agree to comprehensive quality procedures;

23) Work with customers' auditors and ensures the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications;

24) Establish standards of service for customers or clients;

25) Prepare clear explanatory documents;

26) Monitor performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;

27) Strengthen KAMTEK's Management System on the preventive and predictive side based on KAMTEK's Operating Systems

28) Work with other divisions in a unified effort for the benefit of Cosma as an organization

29) Benchmark other divisions and organizations to ensure continuous improvement based on best practice internally and externally

30) Monitor data from measurement devices, especially from CMM and checking fixtures and initiates corrective action based on data analysis leading cross-functional improvement teams

31) Document and monitor internal and external quality concerns and maintains the database for follow-up

32) Head up the 8d process for KAMTEK

33) Perform Layered Process Audits as required by Magna

34) Performs other duties as required
