Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with various standards.
  • Establish and monitor Quality Department KPIs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve quality issues, and meet customer requirements.
  • Manage internal audits, CAPA programs, document control, calibration systems, and change management activities.
  • Lead and develop Quality personnel, conduct audits, oversee supplier qualification activities, and ensure training compliance.

Full Job Description
The Quality Manager serves as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements including ISO 13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001. This position leads the Quality Department, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and partners cross-functionally to ensure quality, operational, and customer satisfaction objectives are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ITAR, and other applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish, monitor, and report Quality Department KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to achieve quality and business objectives.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve quality issues, and ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Manage internal audits, CAPA programs, document control, calibration systems, change management activities, and QMS performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop Quality personnel, host customer and registrar audits, oversee supplier qualification activities, and ensure required training and certifications are maintained.

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, control plans, FMEAs, and quality management system requirements.
  • Experience leading audits, corrective action programs, supplier quality initiatives, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or NADCAP experience preferred.
