Qualifications

• BS or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or process optimization
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a lab environment
• Preferred experience in R&D or Quality labs, particularly in Automotive
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and IATF 16949 standards is a plus
• Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, focused on team success
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Quality Control Technicians
• Compile and provide essential reports to internal stakeholders
• Manage the QIR system and analyze customer return data
• Oversee incoming product inspections and ensure timely releases
• Implement new testing methods and equipment as required
• Support Quality Engineers on projects involving new materials and processes
• Maintain QMS documentation as per Sika procedures
