Standard Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineer Sr you will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality, collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, designs, and drawings.
- Lead yield-improvement initiatives across production sites, trending data and reducing defects.
- Perform supplier quality assessments and maintain certification programs.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions through Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
- Develop and implement inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance with ISO-9001/AS9100.

Basic QualificationsA Bachelors Degree or higher in STEM or equivelant combined education/experience
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, and Contracts that will enable review of Quality Engineering processes, inspections, root causal analysis, problem solving, and taking action on related Performance Metrics
Root causal analysis experience and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical or process issues varying from basic to very complex
Experience in disposition of non-conforming material or products
Desired SkillsLean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement associate (CQIA)
Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Well versed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to travel
Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, and technical writing
Effective interpersonal skills including team building and collaboration
Leadership and customer relationship management skills
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
