We are currently seeking a full-time engineer to take on a month-long project (with the opportunity for extension) at a pump supplier in the Northern Las Vegas, NV area. This is an on-site position with the need to travel (expenses paid) to both Texas and Germany (passport required). Key Responsiblities • Work with technicians on the manufacturing floor monitoring manufacturing process • Identify deviations from recorded process • Gather objective evidence to support active action items, status, and assist in documenting closure • Communicate and build professional rapport with the Supplier and Client teammates Required Qualifications: • Soft skills and patience • Able to effectively run meetings and great documentation skills • Ability to understand manufacturing processes and read standard operation procedures (SOPs) • Ability to communicate with operators and management in person and remotely effectively • Mechanical / process engineering knowledge • Up to date passport $70 - $80 an hour Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.78 per mile driven).
