Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 6+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 4+ years with a master's degree, equivalent experience may substitute.
• Strong understanding of inspection methods and computer applications.
• Knowledge of quality assurance concepts, techniques, and field-specific methods.
• Analytical skills to creatively solve complex quality issues and effectively communicate solutions.
• Detail-oriented for preparing accurate statistical reports and technical documents.
• Leadership skills to manage projects and team members, ensuring adherence to costs and schedules.
• Manufacturing or quality experience in aviation preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality assurance programs and systems for large projects.
• Provides expert guidance on national and international quality standards and regulations.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to uphold quality standards.
• Analyzes complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Identifies and recommends enhancements in design or manufacturing processes.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, including those using GD&T principles.
• Creates methods for inspecting and evaluating product accuracy and efficacy.
