Quality Director

Quality Director
• Lead and manage NQA-1, ISO 9001, and quality management systems (QMS)
• Serve as the quality leader on the executive team, influencing strategic decisions
• Drive internal audits, external audits, compliance, and regulatory adherence
• Oversee corrective actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and nonconformance systems
• Partner with operations to improve manufacturing quality, on-time delivery, and process control
• Lead continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, NDE, and customer specifications

This isn't a check-the-box role. You will influence how quality is executed across the entire organization.

What We're Looking For
• Strong background in metals manufacturing (machining, fabrication, or welding)
• Background in DOE, DOD, nuclear, or highly regulated industries
• Leadership experience managing quality assurance programs, QMS and personnel.
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, welding standards, and engineering specifications

Highly Preferred
• Experience with managing a NQA-1 or ASME Quality program (certified or trained)
• Familiarity with ASME (Section V, IX, III and NQA-1), AWS standards, and NDE standards and methods
• Experience supporting government or nuclear contracts
• Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma
