A Brief Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director, Quality and Operations, the Quality Project Coordinator supports quality, patient safety, accreditation, certification, and regulatory projects across multiple clinical service lines. The Quality Project Coordinator assists with project coordination, data management, accreditation and certification readiness activities, performance improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts. This role serves as a key administrative and operational resource, supporting quality teams, clinical leaders, and operational stakeholders in achieving organizational quality, safety, accreditation, certification, and regulatory goals.

What you will do
  • Supports quality, patient safety, accreditation, certification, and regulatory projects across multiple clinical service lines.
  • Coordinates accreditation and certification readiness activities, including document management, evidence collection, tracer preparation, gap assessments, and action plan tracking.
  • Assists with preparation for regulatory, accreditation, and certification surveys conducted by external agencies and organizations.
  • Maintains accreditation and certification work plans, project timelines, readiness calendars, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinates department committees, workgroups, and project meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items.
  • Collects, validates, organizes, and maintains quality, operational, regulatory, accreditation, and certification-related data.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations used to monitor performance and support decision-making.
  • Supports performance improvement initiatives through project tracking, documentation management, data collection, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Maintains policies, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, accreditation, and certification requirements.
  • Collaborates with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to support quality, patient safety, accreditation, certification, and regulatory activities.
  • Tracks improvement initiatives and follows up with stakeholders to support timely completion of assigned action items.
  • Assists with staff communications, educational materials, and training resources related to quality, accreditation, certification, and regulatory projects.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in support of quality, accreditation, certification, regulatory, and performance improvement projects.


Education Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.


Experience Qualifications
  • One (1) year of administrative, project coordination, healthcare operations, regulatory, accreditation, quality improvement, or related experience preferred.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present information in a clear and meaningful manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement, accreditation, certification, regulatory compliance, or healthcare operations concepts preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders.


Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $39.71 - $51.62 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
