Full Job Description
Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Control Specialist to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Specialist (QCS) is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Control (QC) Program for the Base Operations Support (BOS) contract. The QCS ensures all contract requirements, performance standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations are consistently met. This position serves as the primary point of contact for quality control matters and works closely with project managers, site supervisors, government representatives, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement, and maintain the contract Quality Control Plan (QCP).

Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) requirements.

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of work activities and services.

Perform quality audits and assessments across all BOS service areas, including facilities maintenance, roads & grounds maintenance, solid waste, pest, resource management support functions, project work.

Identify deficiencies, document findings, and track corrective actions through resolution.

Maintain quality control records, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and performance metrics.

Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.

Prepare and submit quality control reports to government representatives and company management.

Coordinate with all department managers to ensure timely corrective actions.

Participate in government inspections, audits, and performance reviews.

Conduct root cause analyses for recurring deficiencies and implement preventive measures.

Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, OSHA standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.

Support internal and external audits.

Facilitate quality-related training programs for employees and supervisors.

Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with quality requirements.

Supports the QC/ES&H Manager who serves as the primary liaison for quality issues with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAEs)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Quality Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, facilities management, or government contracting.

Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD), federal, or BOS contracts preferred.

Knowledge of quality management principles, inspection methodologies, and corrective action processes.

Experience interpreting contract documents, PWS requirements, and performance standards.

Will also have knowledge and general proficiency in GFEBS, Maximo, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other required software that is used at the job site.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per hour
