We are seeking an experienced QC Manager to lead quality processes, support compliance, and promote continuous improvement across the organization.
The Quality Control Manager plans, coordinates, and directs quality control programs to ensure continuous production of products that meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This role is responsible for driving consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all quality processes. Is familiar with ISO 9000 policies and procedures.
Essential functions:- Oversee and manage all incoming inspection activities for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Establish and enforce visual and dimensional inspection protocols, including critical measurement verification of incoming products.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality inspection documentation and records in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Manage workflow and material movement within the QC area, ensuring traceability, segregation, and proper handling of conforming and non-conforming materials.
- Supervise and ensure execution of first article and in-process inspections per defined control plans and production requirements.
- Oversee accurate and timely quality data entry and reporting within SAP or other quality management systems.
- Direct non-conforming material processes, including creation, investigation, and resolution of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), ensuring proper disposition and corrective actions.
- Lead statistical analysis initiatives, including capability studies (Cp/Cpk), to drive continuous process improvement and reduce variation.
- Administer and maintain the calibration program to ensure accuracy and reliability of all measuring and test equipment.
- Oversee scrap reduction initiatives, analyzing trends and driving corrective actions to minimize waste and cost.

- Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License Required
Physical Requirements:- Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to inspect products and equipment, including reaching and handling items at various heights.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate testing equipment and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or become forklift certified.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
This position is performed in a manufacturing setting and requires regular presence throughout production, warehouse, and operational areas. Employees may be exposed to noise, machinery, moving equipment, temperature variations, and other industrial conditions. Adherence to all safety protocols and use of required PPE is mandatory.
Minimum Education Required: - Associates Degree in Quality Engineering or equivalent mechanical engineering studies.
Required work experience:- Minimum five (5) years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibilities.
Travel Requirements: - 10%, Customer and Suppliers visits both domestic and international. Valid passport is required for international travel.
