We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Manager to oversee our customer's product manufacturing program. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters and will act as a liaison to the customer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FAA regulations, along with a background in avionics within a product support and repair environment.
Your tasks - Develop, implement, and manage the programs Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly FAA requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related communications with the FAA and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee corrective action processes and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and non-conformances.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with AS9100 standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Oversee corrective action processes and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and non-conformances.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance, including reports, audits, and corrective action plans.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
Your qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product manufacturing and support.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace or Defense sector.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role. -
- AS9100 lead auditor training or equivalent experience required.
- Experience working with the FAA in a liaison capacity is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and organizational structure is highly desirable. - Experience with government programs and contracts is a plus.
- Experience with avionics in a product support and repair environment is a plus.
- Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining a US Public Trust Clearance. Additional Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills.

The total compensation for this position is $90K-$120K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
