The Opportunity:

The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the program's Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program to ensure compliance with contract requirements, organizational standards, and customer expectations. This position oversees quality assurance processes, conducts compliance reviews, monitors program performance, and drives continuous process improvement to ensure all contractual deliverables meet established quality standards. The Quality Control Manager serves as the primary point of contact for quality management activities and works closely with program leadership, government representatives, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence throughout the contract lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan in accordance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Establish quality management processes, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products, services, and program deliverables.
  • Conduct routine quality audits, inspections, and compliance reviews to verify adherence to contractual requirements, organizational policies, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor program performance and identify quality trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify non-conformities, document deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Verify the quality and completeness of program deliverables prior to customer submission.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, corrective action logs, and other program compliance artifacts.
  • Coordinate internal and external quality assessments, customer inspections, and government audits.
  • Collaborate with program management, technical teams, subcontractors, and support organizations to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and deliver quality awareness training to promote compliance and continuous improvement across the program.
  • Prepare quality performance reports, metrics, and executive-level briefings for program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, contract requirements, organizational policies, and quality management standards.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous process improvement throughout the organization.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Quality Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience managing quality control or quality assurance programs supporting Federal Government, Department of Defense (DoD), or General Services Administration (GSA) contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plans and quality management processes.
  • Experience leading quality audits, compliance reviews, corrective action programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, performance metrics, risk management, and quality management principles.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.


Desired:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT, professional services, or mission support contracts.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems or similar quality frameworks.
  • Certification in Quality Management (ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor, or equivalent).
  • Experience preparing for and supporting government inspections and performance evaluations.
