About the Team and Individual we seek:

They are establishing a Fraud Quality Engineering capability and seeking a senior individual contributor to partner with leadership in building the function from the ground up.

This role will help define and implement testing standards, strategies, and best practices across Fraud technology teams while developing reusable test assets and documentation.

The individual will contribute to a quality maturity roadmap that ensures systems, models, and controls remain effective as fraud threats evolve.

They will drive proactive and continuous testing approaches that consider both software changes and shifts in the fraud landscape.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in quality engineering, test strategy, and automation, with the ability to influence across teams without direct management responsibility.

Experience with AI-enabled testing solutions, autonomous testing, or establishing testing agents is highly desirable as the organization expands its use of AI-driven capabilities.

Independently tests applications, system products, and projects meet defined quality standards through the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies.

Collaborates with engineering teams to identify defects, verify system functionality, and drive improvements in quality assurance practices to support the delivery of reliable and high-performing technology solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements detailed test plans and testing methodologies to validate system functionality and compliance with technical specifications.
  • Conducts advanced audits and testing to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Works with engineering and development teams to recommend and provide measurable input into quality improvement initiatives.
  • Documents, communicates, and tracks test results and issues through to resolution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Supports the delivery of scalable and reliable technology solutions by enforcing quality objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Reviews and enhances quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies to improve testing effectiveness.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level technical contributors in testing activities.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational quality standards.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance function.
  • Participates in cross-functional projects to integrate quality assurance best practices.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience in quality assurance, software testing, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
  • Proficiency with testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, CSTE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, frameworks, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing practices.
  • Experience working in enterprise technology environments.
  • Advanced training or education in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, or related disciplines.
