Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Manager to join the Federal Solutions Team. This position provides leadership in the practice of quality as well as the development and implementation of Quality systems, procedures, and related activities. Regularly interacts with representatives from a variety of functional groups, including program/project management, design/engineering, construction, and other personnel.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Provides supervision to team members within work group, including inspection personnel and quality specialists.
  • Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals, and provides training and development.
  • Provides Quality Systems support using the Parsons Quality Management System as the basis for process development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting and Quality Systems training.
  • Performs independent inspections and audits in various areas and ensures compliance with QA/QC programs.
  • Manages the Corrective Action/Preventive Action and Non-conformance tracking program.
  • Ensures compliance with Parsons' and Client quality requirements.
  • Prepares project/program Quality manuals, plans, and procedures.
  • Verifies that Parsons and customers' quality requirements are in compliance with quality standards and quality program requirements for products and services provided.
  • Reviews from a quality perspective (and approves if required) documents prepared by internal or external organizations such as quality manuals and procedures, technical deliverables, test plans and procedures, purchase orders, and subcontracts.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Business or Quality discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of work experience in Quality, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Possesses working knowledge of engineering and construction quality management practices.
  • Supervisory ability and knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes and current technology.
  • Requires experience in directing and implementing quality management systems and standards specified by ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM and similar organizations.
  • Effective written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. Ability to make public presentations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to direct team members with day to day activities as well as perform field-based quality assurance tasks.


What Desired Experience You'll Bring:
  • ASQ Certification preferred.

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
