Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist (GG-1910-13) to work as the Quality Assurance Chief at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC), at Joint Base (JB) San Antonio - Lackland.

Salary: $108,001- $140,403 per year based on experience.

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this position, you will serve as a Division Quality Assurance Section lead, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over quality assurance personnel and processes assigned to the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD).

U.S. Citizenship (Required)

This is a designated Drug Testing Position

Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Top Secret" security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

Required Core Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and procedures.

Thorough knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.

Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.

Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.

Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.

Working knowledge of manufacturing and repair processes in branches where maintenance is performed.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

Prior quality assurance/inspection experience

Prior maintenance experience

Prior supervisory/leadership experience
