Salary Range: $107,000.00 to $134,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

This position is for the quality and self-assessment lead for Central Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating quality data for a large organization with varying products and formats. The ability to conduct data analytics to identify trends and develop reports is a plus.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Evaluate quality escapes within engineering for trends and recommended corrective actions
• Drive consistency with how quality data is captured and reported across engineering
• Develop Quality Flashes to highlight quality escapes as a lesson learned
• Compile annual self-assessment report for Engineering
• Maintain engineering division demographics
• Maintain critical skill demographics
• Support various training initiatives
• Compile information in preparation for various audits

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 8 year of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
• High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
• High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
