Senior Application Developer - QNXTLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-TimeSenior Application Developer - QNXTAbout the roleAs a Senior Application Developer - QNXT, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and implementing custom healthcare solutions that address complex business needs. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and clients to deliver scalable, high-quality applications and integrations on core healthcare platforms.
In this role, you will:- Analyze business and technical requirements and design effective application solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Develop, test, and implement custom applications, integrations, and reports across the software development lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements and functional designs into scalable technical solutions.
- Support implementation, enhancement, and integration initiatives across QNXT and related systems.
- Estimate effort, plan activities, and track progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure alignment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes and technical solutions.
- Prepare documentation and provide regular status reporting on project activities.

What you need to have to be considered- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience in application development or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of QNXT and the healthcare payer domain.
- Experience with .NET technologies, SQL Server, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience designing and implementing integrations and custom solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
These will help you stand out- Experience working on healthcare payer platform implementations or enhancements.
- Exposure to large-scale system integrations and cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience contributing to solution design and process improvements.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applicants will be accepted till 7/10/2026
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
