About the role
As a QE Automation Lead (Selenium/Playwright), you will make an impact by driving quality engineering initiatives through robust test automation, end-to-end validation, and continuous quality improvement practices. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, developers, business stakeholders, and global delivery teams.

In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and BDD technologies such as Cucumber.
• Drive end-to-end testing across UI, APIs, databases, batch processes, and integrated enterprise workflows.
• Define comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, test data requirements, and quality assurance approaches aligned with business requirements.
• Lead test planning, execution, defect management, reporting, release validation, and quality sign-offs.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to enhance test coverage, automation effectiveness, and overall quality engineering maturity.

What you need to have to be considered
• Strong hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation within Agile software development environments.
• Expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation testing.

• Hands-on experience validating REST APIs, database testing using SQL, and end-to-end workflow testing.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to proactively identify and communicate quality risks.

• Experience leading or coordinating testing activities across distributed global teams.
• Knowledge of test automation framework design and best practices.
• Experience with Oracle database validation, data reconciliation, and backend testing.
• Exposure to modern DevOps and continuous testing methodologies.
• Passion for continuous improvement, automation optimization, and quality engineering innovation.
