We are seeking an experienced QC & Supply Chain Manager (In Training) to lead our Quality Control, Purchasing, Inventory, and Shipping functions while partnering closely with Manufacturing and our Quality Management System (QMS) team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, developing employees, and making sure the right materials and products are available when our customers need them.
What You'll DoQuality & QMS
- Lead the Quality Control team and ensure incoming, in-process, and finished products meet customer and internal specifications.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, records, training, and performance metrics.
- Manage non-conformances, customer complaints, returned goods, supplier quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Partner with the QMS Engineer on ISO 9001 compliance, audits, calibration, root cause analysis, and continual improvement.
- Train employees and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Purchasing & Supply Chain
- Oversee purchasing of production-related raw materials and finished goods based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production requirements.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier communication, late orders, and delivery commitments.
- Evaluate supplier performance and support supplier audits and procurement compliance.
- Coordinate logistics and import activities while identifying opportunities to improve cost, delivery, and efficiency.
Inventory & Production Support
- Oversee physical and cycle counts and maintain appropriate inventory levels and material availability.
- Manage customer-held inventory and ensure proper receiving, storage, and material handling.
- Assist with forecasting, production planning, and scheduling.
- Work cross-functionally to support customer demand and manufacturing requirements.
Shipping & Logistics
- Manage daily inbound and outbound shipping operations and supervise shipping personnel.
- Ensure orders are accurately packed, labeled, and shipped while meeting customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor carriers, freight costs, shipments, returns, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with shipping, safety, and transportation requirements and identify opportunities to improve workflow.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience, or demonstrated leadership capability.
- Manufacturing experience, particularly with industrial, packaging, or drive components, is highly desirable.
- Experience with receiving, warehousing, inventory, purchasing, and/or supply chain processes.
- Strong experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC fundamentals, quality data analysis, and corrective action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data effectively.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases such as SQL or Access.
- Experience with CAD/modeling systems preferred.
- Ability to learn BRECOflex products and manufacturing processes and become proficient following training.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
Compensation and Benefits- Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 (based on experience)
