Role Summary

bp is seeking a QA Lead - Test Automation Engineer to drive quality strategy, automation delivery, and test execution across critical enterprise applications supporting the energy and utilities business. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on automation expertise, leadership experience, and a background in utility or energy environments where reliability, compliance, and system integrity are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Lead QA strategy, test planning, and automation execution across multiple projects and releases.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Partner with product owners, developers, business analysts, and operations teams to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee test execution, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and reporting of quality metrics.
  • Build and maintain automation solutions aligned with Agile/DevOps delivery practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase coverage through automation.
