Our software development client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team. This QA engineer will be involved in daily standups and bi-weekly sprint reviews and planning. They will be responsible for analyzing functional requirements and conducting thorough testing of web-based applications. This includes creating and executing test plans, performing functional, regression, usability, and sanity testing, and documenting defects. They will collaborate with support teams to investigate and resolve client-reported issues, identify opportunities for test automation, and stay current with testing tools and strategies. The QA will report and track bugs using Jira and provide regular updates to leads and management to ensure transparency and progress. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Required Skills & Experience- 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in manual testing
- Highly proficient in following test scripts, executing on test cases, and supporting releases using Jira
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Strong background with web-based applications
- Self-motivated, collaborative spirit, and great communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with Xray from Jira for testing
