About the Role

We're looking for a Purchasing Manager who doesn't just place orders, they own outcomes.

If you take pride in running a tight operation, building strong vendor relationships, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks, this is your seat.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the purchasing team, setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability across all buying activities
  • Own vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure competitive pricing, reliability, and service quality
  • Oversee the full purchasing lifecycle including purchase orders, order tracking, issue resolution, and delivery coordination
  • Partner with operations, project managers, and leadership to forecast demand and align purchasing with project timelines
  • Manage inventory strategy including stock levels, forecasting, and optimization to avoid shortages and excess
  • Review contracts, pricing structures, and supplier performance to ensure vendors are meeting expectations and delivering value
  • Use purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements
  • Anticipate risks in the supply chain and take action before they impact field execution or customer outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, including at least 2-3 years in a purchasing manager, supply chain manager or equivalent leadership role with direct reports
  • Experience leading a purchasing/ procurement team (2+ direct reports)
  • Strong experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing
  • Proven ability to support fast-paced operations with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ownership of purchasing strategy, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance (not limited to transactional buying)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
