EDUCATION
  • Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State
  • Masters of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree


  • Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.


EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years prior pulmonology or sleep medicine experience preferred, but not required.


LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
  • Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State

OR
  • Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority


  • Maintains current DEA registration.
  • Maintains current BLS certification.
  • Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Olympic Medical Physicians' Specialty Clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State's beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team as a pulmonary and sleep medicine clinician.

This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is primarily outpatient with no call. In collaboration with our pulmonology physicians and our sleep medicine medical director, this successful Advanced Practice Clinician will provide specialty outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine consultation and follow-up care in the clinic setting. Opportunities for inpatient follow-up of pulmonology consultation will be available. The successful candidate will also work with the Olympic Medical Center Sleep Lab for referral and coordination of sleep studies.
