JOB DESCRIPTION

Public Health Analyst I – Global Health (Spanish Required)

The Public Health Analyst I supports global and domestic public health initiatives, including cross-border programs and partnerships. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who can apply public health training in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Public Health Analyst I – Global Health (Spanish Required):  $85,000- $95,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Public Health Analyst I – Global Health (Spanish Required) Responsibilities Include:  
•    Support planning, coordination, and implementation of public health programs 
•    Track deliverables, timelines, and program performance 
•    Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders 
•    Support cross-border (binational) initiatives and coordination 
•    Collect, analyze, and interpret public health data 
•    Develop reports, briefs, and presentations 
•    Support program evaluation and continuous improvement 
•    Prepare materials in both English and Spanish
•    Support coordination with international partners and cross-border public health initiatives

Public Health Analyst I – Global Health (Spanish Required) Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:  
•    Master’s degree in Public Health or related field 
•    Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) – REQUIRED 
•    Strong communication and writing skills
•    Experience supporting global migration health or international programs 
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to work independently and resolve problems without constant supervision
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with global or border health programs 
•    Experience working with diverse or international populations 
•    Familiarity with surveillance systems or data analysis
