Full Job Description
Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Psychologist for inpatient services on our Towson and Elkridge campuses. Candidates may be considered for a dual-site role covering both campuses or a position at either campus. These locations serve as hubs for many of our core psychological services, including inpatient care, comprehensive diagnostic assessments, and specialized group therapies. The inpatient units on both campuses benefit from integrated psychological evaluations, behavioral intervention planning, and evidence-based therapeutic care.

What to expect:

The Psychologist provides direct psychological services, including diagnostic assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, psychoeducational skills groups, and psychological evaluations. This individual collaborates closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams, supports therapeutic initiatives, and contributes to treatment planning and quality improvements while adhering to trauma-informed and evidence-based practices.

What we need from you:

Required:

  • Completion of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from a school of psychology, accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), which included supervised practicum, internship, field, or laboratory training appropriate to the practice of psychology.
  • Current Maryland license to practice as a psychologist in the State of Maryland at time of appointment.
  • Eligible for registration in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology at time of appointment.


The pay range for this position is $100,000 minimum to $140,000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, board certifications and years and level of related experience.
