Registered Psychologist - Lifemark Health Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services
  • Location: On-site in Calgary @ Lifemark Sunridge (#70, 2121 - 29 Street NE, Calgary AB T1Y 7H8)
  • Schedule: 7:30am - 4pm
  • Status: Permanent Full Time, with Part Time option possible

Join our dynamic, interdisciplinary team in a return-to-work program designed to address musculoskeletal, vocational, and psychosocial barriers to recovery. We work collaboratively across disciplines to support injured workers experiencing Traumatic Psychological Injuries (TPI), Brain Injuries (BI), and/or physical injuries experiencing protracted recovery (Complex) in achieving sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Your day-to day:
  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions tailored to individual recovery needs
  • Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, vocational specialists, and case managers
  • Contribute to integrated care planning and goal setting
  • Support clients in navigating psychosocial challenges impacting recovery and work readiness

Education and licensure
  • Required: Ph.D. or Master in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists - competency with adult populations; clinical/counselling (asset: trauma, counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology)
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
  • Advanced Post-Graduate Training and Supervised Competence in Clinical Personality Assessment is an asset

Applied experience
  • Experience with evidence-based trauma-focused therapy is required (i.e., PE, CPT, EMDR)
  • Experience treating PTSD, brain injury and chronic pain is required
  • Experience in rehabilitation, occupational health, or related fields
  • Conducting psychological assessments with adults for treatment planning purposes
  • Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
  • Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers is considered an asset
  • Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset

Additional abilities
  • Bilingual - French / English is an asset
  • A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaborative care
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams
  • Efficient with required clinical documentation
