musculoskeletal, vocational, and psychosocial barriers to recovery. We work collaboratively across disciplines to support injured workers experiencing
Traumatic Psychological Injuries (TPI),
Brain Injuries (BI), and/or physical injuries experiencing protracted recovery (
Complex) in achieving sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
Your day-to day:- Provide psychological assessments and interventions tailored to individual recovery needs
- Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, vocational specialists, and case managers
- Contribute to integrated care planning and goal setting
- Support clients in navigating psychosocial challenges impacting recovery and work readiness

Education and licensure- Required: Ph.D. or Master in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists - competency with adult populations; clinical/counselling (asset: trauma, counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology)
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
- Advanced Post-Graduate Training and Supervised Competence in Clinical Personality Assessment is an asset
Applied experience- Experience with evidence-based trauma-focused therapy is required (i.e., PE, CPT, EMDR)
- Experience treating PTSD, brain injury and chronic pain is required
- Experience in rehabilitation, occupational health, or related fields
- Conducting psychological assessments with adults for treatment planning purposes
- Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers is considered an asset
- Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset
Additional abilities- Bilingual - French / English is an asset

- Able to work both autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams
- Efficient with required clinical documentation
