Psychiatrist - Outpatient Integrated Care

Location: Southfield, MI
Schedule: 5 Days per Week (3 In-Person | 2 Telehealth)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Call Responsibilities: None - Outpatient Only

The Practice Model

Structured & Sustainable Schedule
  • 5 days per week
  • 3 in-person clinic days
  • 2 telehealth days
  • Outpatient only
  • No hospital rounding
  • No inpatient responsibilities
  • No call coverage

Visit Structure
  • Focused outpatient medication management
  • Collaborative support from embedded therapists and care managers

This structure allows for efficient, high-quality care delivery while maintaining professional sustainability.

What You'll Do

Deliver Integrated Psychiatric Care
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations within a primary care-embedded setting.
  • Diagnose and manage a range of mental health conditions.
  • Prescribe and manage medications with structured follow-up.
  • Provide brief therapeutic interventions when appropriate.

Work Within a Fully Integrated Model
  • Embedded alongside Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
  • Collaborate daily with:
    • On-site therapists
    • Care managers
    • Social workers
    • Medical providers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews.
  • Contribute to coordinated care plans that address both medical and behavioral health needs.

Lead & Shape Mental Health Strategy
  • Help refine and scale the MindPATH behavioral health platform.
  • Serve as a clinical leader within the integrated care model.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and outcome tracking.
  • Mentor advanced practice providers as the program grows.

Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and ethical standards.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
