Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
• Provide clinical leadership and consultation, supporting team members in diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment strategies
• Supervise and maintain collaborative practice agreements with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care to promote active participation in recovery
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care using evidence-based practices
• Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
• Respond to on-call responsibilities for emergency psychiatric care (with additional compensation)
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Support efficient practice operations, including productivity goals, billing accuracy, and compliance with policies and procedures

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school required
• Completion of a Psychiatry residency program required
• 0-3 years of psychiatric clinical experience preferred
• Board eligible in Psychiatry required; Board certification in a psychiatric specialty preferred
• Unlimited license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee required

Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams across verbal, written, and virtual formats
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in collaborative healthcare environments
• Strong knowledge of psychopathology, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based psychiatric treatment
• Ability to complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards
• Commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing medical education requirements
• Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations and manage patient care independently and collaboratively

Physical Requirements
• Sit for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time)
• Stand periodically throughout the workday (approximately 20% of the time)
• Perform occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting
• Drive occasionally for professional responsibilities
• Lift and carry items occasionally as needed

Pay Range:
$212,300.00--$318,400.00
