Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide mental health services in long-term care and nursing home facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver impactful psychiatric care to an often-overlooked population.
Requirements- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with facility staff and family members
- Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care
- Document care in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications- Certified PMHNP
- Active DEA
- Active, unrestricted state license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred (not required)
- Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
