Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health Division as an Integrated Prescriber in Medford, MA. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hybrid position; Providing care both in-office and remotely from your home
  • Conduct clinical evaluations
  • Develop and implement care plans, which include prescribing and regularly evaluating and modifying as appropriate
  • Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and other medical staff regarding behavioral health issues
  • Refer patients to the appropriate level of care

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts APRN license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician, with previous experience and the ability to see both pediatric and adult patients is preferred.


The salary range for this role is $109,500 to $164,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
