Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Position Type: Full-Time | Outpatient | In-Person (Minimum 4 Days per Week)

As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a collaborative and patient-centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Daytona Beach team.

Position Summary

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and follow-up care for adolescent and adult patients. This provider will work collaboratively with our physicians and clinical staff while developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients.

This is a 100% outpatient position with no hospital call and no inpatient responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically confident, and committed to delivering exceptional psychiatric care while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Florida PMHNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred
  • Two or more years of outpatient psychiatric experience
  • Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and other common psychiatric conditions
  • Experience working with adolescent and adult populations

Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Outpatient only
  • Minimum of four days per week onsite in our Daytona Beach office
  • No inpatient responsibilities
  • No hospital call
