As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a collaborative and patient-centered
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Daytona Beach team.
Position SummaryThe Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and follow-up care for adolescent and adult patients. This provider will work collaboratively with our physicians and clinical staff while developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients.
This is a
100% outpatient position with
no hospital call and
no inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management and ongoing follow-up care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical support staff to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices
QualificationsRequired- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Florida PMHNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred- Two or more years of outpatient psychiatric experience
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and other common psychiatric conditions
- Experience working with adolescent and adult populations
Schedule- Full-time
- Outpatient only
- Minimum of four days per week onsite in our Daytona Beach office
- No inpatient responsibilities
- No hospital call
