Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner you will join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing outpatient care at our Immanuel clinic . The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. In addition there is a weekend inpatient rounding rotation.

In this role you will be part of a collaborative outpatient clinic that provides a wide variety of outpatient mental health services, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment, psychological testing, individual and family psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The group provides a team-based approach to care and includes nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers providing a range of services including outpatient, acute inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, addiction treating and residential programs. They actively contribute as a collaborative team player, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and optimal patient outcomes.

Required
  • Certified by the ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Ability to work with both adult and adolescent populations
  • Active or Eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska and Iowa
  • DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa
  • BLS
Preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders
