Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient care, including urgent care procedures
  • Deliver comprehensive treatment, including referrals

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate - Delivering care that is personal!

Are you ready to practice medicine with purpose in a well-established network of urgent care and occupational medicine clinics that put people first? At BestMed Clinics part of Community Care Partners, we are redefining urgent care by putting people first-both our patients, our providers and team members.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Associate to join our growing urgent care and occupational medicine team in Yakima, WA!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
  • Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
  • Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
  • Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director


What's Required:

Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
