Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering team in advanced projects or serial development
  • Manage the supply chain for propulsion system prototypes, ensuring adherence to timing, cost, and quality standards
  • Assist in the creation and update of bills of materials (BOM)
  • Oversee pre-serial parts procurement and schedule changes effectively
  • Determine cost per stage for prototypes and manage the yearly project budget
  • Synthesize actual and forecasted prototype expenses for budget monitoring
  • Collaborate with customers on prototype costing and physical resource management

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Supports the engineering team in advanced project or serial
  • Manages the supply of Propulsions System Prototypes and Pre-serial respecting timing, cost, quality and configuration commitments validated by the PRS execution team.
  • Supports the BOM creation/update, pre-serial parts procurement, scheduling of part's changes and the transfer of the procurement


Accountable for:
  • Determining the physical means cost per stage and the yearly scheduling of the prototype budget of his/her own powertrain's project
  • Manage the costing of the prototypes and pre-serial physical means requested by all the customers
  • Realize the synthesis of actuals and forecasts regarding yearly prototype expenses supporting the cost manager in the prototype budget monitoring


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of direct experience
  • Capable of analyzing & synthesizing data
  • Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously, highly organized
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong communication skills working with cross functional teams and management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in propulsion/powertrain systems
  • Proficiency in working with web base systems
