Position Description:

Working onsite in the National Capital region, the Proposal Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our bids by ensuring that the proposal process is organized, compliant, and timely. They coordinate all stakeholders, manage deadlines, and oversee the development of content, ensuring that every aspect aligns with client requirements and internal governance. Their ability to lead teams, resolve issues, and maintain quality control directly impacts the competitiveness and professionalism of the final submission, making them key to winning business opportunities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Performs Proposal Management role, ensuring internal processes and appropriate governance are followed.
.Leads bid teams from kick off through compliant bid submission.
.Develops and manages bid plan/timeline, ensuring sign offs and approvals are obtained.
.Schedules necessary meetings with various stakeholders and teams.
.Coordinates bid content and manages requirements.
.Leads status meetings, shares documented actions, and follows up to ensure task completion.
.Escalates issues for timely resolution.
.Scores rated responses and enhances CVs for proposals.
.Conducts competitive analysis and market research.
.Maintains and updates accurate records.
.Provides back up support for procurement searches, document formatting, and document manager duties as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.Minimum 5 years' experience in the following federal government RFx activities (project management experience will be considered)
.Strong attention to detail and project management skills (3 5 years)
.Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office; Subject Matter Expertise in proposal and RFP best practices, or similar successful project management experience
.Highly skilled in matrices and gridding, ensuring accurate, organized, and compliant responses in government proposals
.Ability to work cross functionally while managing multiple priorities.
.Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
