This role is remote and can be based in various locations across the United States.

As a Proposal Development Specialist, you will manage the proposal process from opportunity identification through handover to the execution team, with primary focus on Field Service sales support. You will develop proposals for bundled solutions and Field Service opportunities, including revamps, upgrades, turnarounds, installation and commissioning, and long-term projects.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, financial acumen, effective management of multiple priorities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will collaborate across functions to develop cohesive, value-based solutions tailored to customer requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop cost estimates, financial analyses, and value-based proposals using Siemens Energy tools, methods, and approval processes.
• Evaluate RFQs (request for quotation), RFPs (request for proposal), and work scopes to confirm requirements and ensure complete, accurate, and compliant proposals.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile cost, scope, schedule, and value information for competitive proposal development.
• Facilitate bid/no-bid decisions, kickoff meetings, strategy reviews, pre-approvals, LoAs (limits of authority-internal proposal and approval reviews), and handoff meetings across Product Lines, Regions, Business Units, and Segment Management.
• Build knowledge of products, costs, customer value propositions, and proposal processes while partnering with Product Line and RNA (Regional North America) Operations teams to ensure compliance with current requirements.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, provide proposal status updates and guidance, incorporate feedback, and manage proposal, approval, and decision records for governance and execution handover.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in field service, accounting, finance, sales, engineering, or proposal management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries. Those with more years of experience may be considered for a more senior level.
• Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and quality-focused skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and changing customer requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional proposal activities without direct authority.
• Proactive, results-oriented professional who demonstrates initiative, accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to achieving business objectives.

For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $84,800 to $121,000 annually, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
