Job DescriptionYou will be the Proposal Analyst Materials Estimator for the Materials Estimation team. Our team is responsible for providing day-to-day cost-estimating support for THAAD and related missile-system proposals, building accurate Bills of Materials, applying cost-modeling techniques, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Proposal Analyst Materials Estimator you will be responsible for developing material cost estimates, validating data, and supporting proposal activities.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain Bills of Materials using MCE or Twenty5.
- Apply cost-modeling concepts (quantity curves, escalation factors, rate studies) to derive material estimates.
- Perform first-pass checks for FAR/DFARS, TINA, and internal policy compliance and reconcile cost data from GSC, procurement, and engineering.
- Participate in proposal kick-offs, fact-finding meetings, and internal review cycles, preparing data-analysis workbooks and supporting narratives.
- Collaborate with the estimating manager, engineering, supply-chain, and finance partners to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience in data analysis/cost analysis
3+ years of professional work experience
Desired skillsDirect experience supporting the THAAD program
Direct experience in materials estimating or supply chain
Experience with Twenty5, MCE, SAP, S4/Hana, ProPricer or BOEPro
Familiar with FAR/DFARs, TINA compliance or state/federal environment
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
