Summary:Position Summary The Villa Property Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and stewardship of the Miraval Arizona Residences, ensuring an exceptional luxury experience for Owners and their guests while maintaining the highest standards of service, property care, and operational excellence.
This leader serves as the primary point of contact for Exclusive Resorts and Private Owners, and provides strategic oversight of all residential operations, including owner relations, property maintenance, financial management, capital planning, and guest services. The Villa Property Manager partners closely with Resort Operations, Engineering, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, Finance, and Sales to deliver a seamless residential experience consistent with Miraval's purpose-driven luxury hospitality standards.
The Villa Property Manager leads and develops the villa team while fostering strong relationships with Exclusive Resorts Leaders, Guests and Owners through proactive communication, trust, and personalized service.
Essential Job Functions Owner & Resident Experience- Serve as the primary relationship manager for Owners, cultivating long-term trust and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain proactive owner communication regarding property updates, maintenance projects, and operational initiatives.
- Coordinate owner arrivals, departures, special requests, and personalized experiences.
- Resolve owner and guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with discretion.
- Develop owner engagement, and communications that strengthen the residential community.
Property Operations- Oversee the daily operation, presentation, and preventative maintenance of all Miraval Villas.
- Partner with Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure Villas consistently meet luxury brand standards.
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards.
Financial Management- Monitor operating expenses and identify opportunities for improved efficiency while protecting the owner experience.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and operational analyses as required.
- Partner with Exclusive Resorts and Finance on planning and capital expenditures.
Leadership- Recruit, coach, develop, and lead the Villa Concierge team.
- Establish and maintain service standards that reflect Miraval's luxury wellness philosophy.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional guest service.
- Develop department policies, procedures, and training programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with Resort Leadership to ensure seamless integration between villa operations and resort services.
- Collaborate with Spa, Culinary, Programming, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services to coordinate owner experiences.
- Support resort initiatives while advocating for the unique needs of the villa community.
- Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives.
Operational Excellence- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Miraval programming, amenities, and services.
- Ensure compliance with Exclusive Resorts, Hyatt and Miraval policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitor guest and owner feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and Miraval's values in every interaction.
Qualifications: Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, residential property management, luxury resort operations, or private club management.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing colleagues or multiple operational disciplines.
- Experience managing luxury residences, branded residential communities, or high-end resort properties strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial planning, and capital project oversight.
- Experience developing strong relationships with high-net-worth homeowners or luxury clientele preferred.
- Experience working within the parameters of an HOA contract and guiding owners through process is highly preferred.
- Experience in a Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond, luxury branded residence, or ultra-luxury resort environment preferred.
