About the Role:
As a CBRE Property Management Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for all operational, reporting and financial activities of a portfolio of properties. You will establish site scopes, engage teams for regular inspections, and manage the day-to-day property operations such as security, landscaping, existing leases, and emergency response coordination.

This is a Remote job for someone based in the East Region of the United States.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
What You'll Do:
  • Site Onboarding & Scoping: Coordinate initial kick-off meetings with regional managers and site leads to establish relationships, review photo locations, determine inspection frequencies, and define the specific operational requirements for each new property.
  • Emergency Response & Special Project Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for emergency responders, develop and update annual emergency communication trees, and manage approved ad-hoc projects like debris removal or minor regulatory filings.
  • Lease & External Relations Administration: Serve as the primary point of contact for current lessees (agricultural, commercial, or residential), monitor lease expirations, track local zoning or development changes, and represent ownership at commercial association meetings when assigned.
  • Security & Property Oversight: Oversee physical site security by ensuring fences, gates, and locks are secure, collaborate on threat assessments, post necessary signage, and remove unauthorized personnel or trespassers.
  • Environmental & Grounds Management: Monitor land conditions to manage weed growth, establish annual landscaping budgets, and oversee brush clearance to actively prevent wildfire risks on the properties.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and distribute periodic Site Inspection Reports that include executive summaries of risks, updated photo journals, maintenance logs, and detailed expense/reimbursement updates.
  • Respond to high profile tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for large operating and capital expenses. Forecast complex management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Prepare and approve all required legal notices. Recommend and coordinate legal action as necessary.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
  • Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite products. Examples include Google Sheets, Slides, Docs, Forms, and Meet, etc. is highly preferred.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Property Manager position is $100,000 annually [or $48.07 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr Property Manager position is $120,000 annually [or $57.69 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
