Full Job Description
General Position Description

The Project Scheduler works with Conti's estimating and project staff providing scheduling support for pricing and project operations on Federal Government Opportunities. This position requires travel to various sites to collect information, provide data, and develop schedules and solutions during all phases of a project from the RFP through project closeout.

The Project Scheduler will generate, maintain and evaluate committed schedules, budgets, and forecasts while actively participating in all scheduling and cost meetings. The Project Scheduler will manage data required by the Government for analysis and billing purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Knows and understands the contract Scope of Work, Specifications, Strategy, and Bid Conditions and assists the Estimating and/or Project Team in reviewing, developing, and modifying schedules for estimating and forecasting purposes.
  • Can create specification compliant schedules in P6 and MS Project.
  • Familiar with USACE, NAVFAC and OBO scheduling requirements.
  • Able to resource and cost load schedules for submission and EV management as required.
  • Has full understanding of Time Impact Analysis development and presentation.
  • Collects, processes, and analyzes data to form a solution.
  • Participates in Business Development activities to promote the company's brand and services.
  • Communicates transparently and directly with to ensure all of the facts are received when discussing an issue.
  • Attentively executes responsibilities with accuracy and precision.
  • Makes informed and timely decisions based on team recommendations and supporting data and escalates issues when necessary.
  • Participates in Project and Client scheduling meetings.
  • Participates in Billings/Collections meetings to help drive maximum cash flow.
  • Sets clear expectations on schedule, budget, and forecasts and holds other accountable.


Qualifications
  • For Security Clearance Requirements - must be a US Citizen, as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ Years of Scheduling Experience in the construction Industry with demonstrated success on scheduling projects with a minimum value of $20M. 5 years scheduling, federal experience preferred.
  • Skilled in reading construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in using software solutions such as Bluebeam and Primavera.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office products, primarily Word and Excel.
  • Has a thorough understanding of engineering and cost tracking systems.
  • Has a strong work ethic, solid time management system, and demonstrates excellent organizational skills.
  • Has strong people and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Has a problem solving mentality and the ability to multi-task and perform tasks with minimal direction.
