As a Project Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in bringing complex projects to life by developing strategic schedules, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and proactively mitigating risks for globally recognized customers.
Position Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for large and complex projects, including design, procurement, construction, close-out, equipment installation, and commissioning activities
- Monitor and document all phases of the construction progress by analyzing the impacts and generating corrective actions to mitigate/avoid overruns
- Resource employees and subcontractors to establish a growing database of available trades and labor
- Interface with Project Managers and/or clients regarding the schedule status of the project to ensure compliance with the contract specifications and other documents
- Support the development of bid and proposal schedules with management, the preconstruction team, and other stakeholders
- Prepare clear and concise scheduling/update analysis reports
- Identify the risks that are associated with any aspect of the workforce planning cycle and its supporting data, providing appropriate recommendations or improvement strategies
Required Skills:- Advanced knowledge of scheduling programs such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Viewpoint is preferred
- Motivated and self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs, proactively find solutions, and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to multitask with optimal prioritization and exercise independent judgment to meet goals and deadlines of all projects
Required Experience:- 3+ years of experience with developing project plans, detailed construction schedules, cost/resource loaded schedules, preferably for heavy industrial construction projects
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field or Construction Management is required
