Your Day to Day- Manage the workers' compensation process to expedite legitimate claims and protect from illegitimate claims.
- Conduct site audits, evaluate project's compliance with safety regulations, identify areas of improvement and review investigation reports to ensure that corrective actions will eliminate recurrence and unsafe acts/conditions.
- Under the direction of senior management, develop, implement and administer health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and corporate policies; drive the implementation of standardized and harmonized policies, practices, and procedures at all sites.
- Participate in investigations regarding safety non-compliance incidents and provide responses for operational issues.
- Establish, coordinate and lead project safety training programs.
- Create, review and update internal safety and health manual policies under the direction of senior management.
- Manage OSHA regulatory reporting and record keeping requirements.
- Manage the project's safety and industrial hygiene programs and ensure compliance with internal and external safety and health regulations and policies.
- Participate in all federal, state and corporate investigations and inspections.
- Provide project support for corporate health and safety initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise to project personnel on key governmental regulations pertaining to health and safety.

- Working knowledge of Jacobsen's Safety, Health and Environmental Manual, OSHA and other requirements and/or regulations.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety or Environmental sciences or another related field.
- 5 years of experience in environment, health or safety related fields.
- Must have thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws and regulations.
