Full Job Description
City: houston State: Texas About the Role We are looking for experienced Project Quality Leads and Quality Engineers to support major capital projects across industries such as energy, power generation, manufacturing, infrastructure, data centers, renewables, and industrial facilities. In this role, you will work closely with project teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover. This position may be office-based, hybrid, or site-based depending on project requirements, with travel as needed. What You'll Do
  • Support the development and implementation of project quality plans and processes
  • Identify quality risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support project delivery objectives
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications, procedures, standards, and contractual requirements
  • Conduct or support audits, inspections, surveillance, and quality assessments
  • Review quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and project deliverables
  • Support management of non-conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams
  • Participate in supplier and contractor quality oversight activities
  • Support project turnover, readiness reviews, and operational handover requirements
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management, Project Engineering, Construction Management, Supplier Quality, or related disciplines
  • Experience supporting industrial, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, transportation, or data center projects
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement principles
  • Experience reviewing technical documents, inspection records, test reports, and project deliverables
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting EPC, construction, commissioning, startup, or operational readiness activities
  • Experience working for owners, EPC contractors, manufacturers, consulting firms, or suppliers
  • Experience with supplier quality management, audits, inspections, and surveillance programs
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to capital projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
  • Professional certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQM, CMQ/OE, Lead Auditor, AWS, AMPP/NACE, NETA, API, or equivalent
