What You'll Do:
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, maintain documentation, and prepare accurate, timely status reports.
  • Conduct detailed contract financial analysis to ensure project alignment with budgetary constraints and profitability targets.
  • Coordinate directly with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO) for the delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and the processing of modification requests.
  • Manage local property control processes and execution to stay in compliance with CDRLs and ensure compliance with BAE and Government requirements.
  • Manage and execute customer IT and security approval processes to ensure timely system access, operational readiness and compliance.
  • Track and analyze project schedule and budget impacts resulting from purchasing delays and pending customer approvals.
  • Interface with the local Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) administrator to mitigate and manage project schedule impacts.
  • Manage local property control processes and execution to stay in compliance with CDRLs and ensure compliance with BAE and Government requirements.
  • Develop and maintain systems or tools for tracking project milestones, reporting performance, and improving workflow efficiency across the team.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 4 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interface with government representatives and internal departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good planning, time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
  • Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheets, and database development programs (such as Word, Excel, ERPs, and Access).
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
  • Experience with government and/or commercial-equivalent equipment and/or materials inventory management database systems.
