For decades, we've provided expertise ranging from economic studies and detailed engineering to procurement, commissioning, site management, and mine closure. We're excited to welcome a Project Manager / Project Engineer to our growing team in Terrace, British Columbia. In this role, you'll support the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary heavy industrial and mining projects from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with an expert team to meet client objectives and solve real-world challenges across the Resources sector.

Your Impact
  • Drive project resourcing and budget management to maintain profitable and predictable project performance.
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables across all disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee man-loading planning to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and cost control reports, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maintain scope alignment.
  • Implement and reinforce HSE and quality procedures throughout all project phases.
  • Represent WSP confidently in meetings and presentations, providing clear, timely updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all matters related to project scope, risks, and execution.
  • Capture lessons learned from past and current projects to promote continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and project scoping.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support successful project delivery.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, focused on mining and/or heavy industrial projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience overseeing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Designation as EIT, CET or P.Eng in BC desired.
  • Highly self-motivated, with a desire to grow and take on new challenges.
  • Strong ability to engage confidently with clients in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
