Description

Integrion Automation (formally Wauseon Machine) is searching for a Project Manager. This is a full-time, on-site role at their Wauseon, Ohio Plant. The Project Manager is responsible for leading automation projects from order receipt through project closeout while ensuring customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, profitability, quality, and cash flow. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the customer, coordinating all internal departments and suppliers to achieve successful project execution. The Project Manager is accountable for project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, commercial performance, and overall project results.

Core Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary point of communication to the customer from project kick-off through Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for assigned projects.
• Assume complete responsibility for leadership and project team mentorship of the project through the phase gate process including kickoff, definition and confirmation of project requirements, schedule development and management, scope and change management, risk identification, cost management, open issues management, compliance assurance, and both Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting.
• Accept and share best practices including advancement of project management process maturity, application of lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
• Track & maintain project labor & material budgets, including corrective actions to deliver key project deliverables on time and budget.
• Negotiation of all scope changes fairly, equitably, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Plan & lead difficult negotiations to successful terms with customer when called upon.
• Understand and use Root Cause Analysis when problems are identified. Implement corrective actions.
• Clearly communicate status & health of projects both internally (weekly) and externally.
• Proactively identify risks and mitigations, issues, and drive to timely resolution.
• Coordinate and continuously monitor & control schedules, budgets, and quality deliverables throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Exhibit strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal and leadership skills to build loyalty, trust, and commitments from key customer contacts involved with making decisions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant PM experience within construction, industrial automation, or other project-based business for external customers.
• Prior demonstrated project management success developing, managing, & reporting: communication, schedules, budgets, scope, and resources.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing multiple large complex projects simultaneously.
• High mechanical aptitude (highly preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to adopt company systems, processes, and tools.
• Proficiency with MS Project or other similar project management scheduling & resource management software.
• Willing to travel to meet with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
