Position overview: VIP is seeking a Project Manager to lead implementation and ongoing delivery using a solution that supports waiver registries, case management, electronic plans of care, service authorizations, provider workflows, Medicaid integrations, and federal reporting. The current environment serves more than 35,000 individuals, approximately 600 service providers, and 60 support-coordination agencies.
Key responsibilities: - Own the integrated project plan, schedule, staffing coordination, dependencies, risks, issues, and change-control process.
- Lead delivery of the entellitrak-based solution from discovery and configuration through data conversion, integrations, testing, training, readiness review, and go-live.
- Coordinate implementation staff, platform specialists, program experts, subcontractors, and State stakeholders.
- Work with the solution architect to translate HCBS requirements into a delivery plan that accounts for platform configuration, extensions, integrations, and reporting.
- Manage platform dependencies, releases, environment readiness, and escalation of product issues.
- Manage conversion of historical participant, provider, authorization, and service data while maintaining continuity of services.
- Oversee CMS certification plans, evidence, review materials, and milestone tracking with certification specialists and State partners.
- Ensure delivery teams address HIPAA, State security requirements, access controls, and disaster recovery.
- Manage status reporting, decisions, escalations, deliverable acceptance, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate training, help-desk readiness, transition to operations, and ongoing enhancements.
Mandatory requirements: - Be based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the assignment. Candidates willing to relocate must establish their base there by the required start date.
- Dedicate 100% of their time to this contract.
- Be available Monday• Friday, 8 a.m.• 5 p.m. Central, for virtual and in-person meetings as requested.
- Attend required monthly meetings with State program offices and additional provider/support-coordination meetings as requested.
Preferred qualifications: - Direct experience with Medicaid 1915(c) waivers, HCBS registries, electronic plans of care, prior authorization, or support coordination.
- CMS certification experience, including operational readiness and certification reviews.
- Experience with Tyler entellitrak.
- PMP or comparable project-management certification.
