The VCA Program Management Office will be responsible for leading the portfolio of projects to drive delivery of strategic growth agenda, fulfilling our financial commitment in our AEP and IVCP.
The team collaborates closely with the VCA Senior Leadership Team along with IT, Digital, Pricing leaders, as well with their MVH counterparts in Strategy and the Transformation Office, providing ongoing portfolio visibility by reviewing all active and planned projects and recommending strategic decisions regarding selection and approval of new projects, changes in project priorities, and allocation of resources to all projects in the portfolio .
The
Project Manager helps to manage a subset of programs to deliver on the business' AEP and IVCP targets in concert with other PMO managers, PMO leader and the SLT. This role is responsible for end-to-end project management efforts, including the use and deployment of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS- Support and drive the set of strategic growth and cost-savings initiatives that will be necessary to achieve our long-term IVCP growth plans; as a Project Manager you will be responsible for specific set of initiatives
- Support and embed the new project management and delivery process for VCA from project charter, recommendation, launch, and steady state
- Report to PMO Leader / SLT on any delays, interdependencies, risks or issues related to the completion of the projects including resourcing and costs.
- Manage cross functional project leaders to successfully deliver all initiatives on a timely basis
- Developing and maintaining harmonious partnerships across the organization to achieve results through win-win relationships.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program/project management, business strategy, or financial planning.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Familiarity with project management software and analytics tools (ex: Smartsheet) preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
