About the Role:Baker Barrios Architects (BBA) is seeking a skilled and experienced
Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a licensed architect or a non-registered graduate with 10+ years of experience in architecture and project management. As a key representative of BBA, the Project Manager will serve as the face of the firm, both internally and externally, ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Oversight: Manage the financial performance of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and contracts. Maintain awareness of additional service opportunities and oversee sub-consultant management to maximize project profitability.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the course of the project.
- Project Management: Oversee all project scheduling, scope management, design awareness, and quality control to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Communication: Coordinate internal and external communication related to the project. Provide regular project updates and reporting to clients, the BBA team, and other stakeholders.
- Proposal Participation: Contribute to the proposal process, including drafting and submitting proposals, and assisting with additional service requests as they arise.
- Brand Projection: Represent and project the BBA brand in all aspects of the project, ensuring the design vision is communicated effectively internally and externally.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the project team, ensuring the performance, well-being, and professional development of team members.
Qualifications:- Education: A professional degree in architecture or related field. A licensed architect is preferred, though non-licensed individuals with significant experience (10+ years) are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in architecture, with a strong background in project management and client relations. Experience managing financial performance, scope, and quality control on architectural projects is essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.
