Full Job Description
The Role We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly growing Chandler team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of large-scale equipment deployments for projects, events, and emergency operations from bid to close. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, financial performance, and wrap-up of projects, while maintaining high standards of safety, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from bid award through final close-out, coordinating all logistical, operational, financial, and customer-facing requirements.
  • Partner with Project, Operations, Engineering, Sales, Estimating, and branch teams to develop comprehensive project plans covering equipment, personnel, transportation, scheduling, setup, and site requirements.
  • Conduct and participate in pre-project strategy, preconstruction, and hand-off meetings to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to operations.
  • Own the financial performance of assigned projects from bid award through final close-out, with direct accountability for revenue, costs, and gross margin.
  • Partner with Estimating and Sales during the bid process to validate scope, pricing, labor, equipment, logistics, overhead, and margin assumptions.
  • Analyze job cost and P&L performance, identify variances, and take proactive corrective action to protect project margins.
  • Work alongside Superintendents and Crew Leads to oversee project setup, deployment, operation, breakdown, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a key customer contact throughout the project, partnering with Sales and Operations to maintain strong communication and resolve issues promptly.
  • Champion and enforce a safety-first culture across all projects and job sites and ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including labor hours, equipment utilization, project documentation, customer feedback, and other required reporting.
  • Partner with Contract Administration and branch teams to support accurate and timely specialty-project billing and invoicing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce project costs, strengthen processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in project management, operations management, construction, industrial services, equipment rental, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from bid/award through close-out.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to understand project P&L, revenue, costs, gross margin, budgets, and cost variances.
  • Ability to identify and manage change orders, scope changes, and other factors affecting project profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, coaching, or directing field personnel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities, personnel, equipment, and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong understanding of job-site safety requirements and applicable OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam Revu for PDF creation, document management, and plan markups.
  • Knowledge of pumps or pumping systems and/or experience in industrial services, equipment rentals preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on project requirements.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
